The Characterization Facility ("CharFac") is an instrumentation facility (microscopy, spectroscopy, scattering, nanomechanical) for research in synthetic or natural materials and the biosciences.
Advanced Preclinical Imaging Center (APIC): Large animal research, fully functioning cath lab, fully staffed to perform procedures of any investigator, multiple surgery suites, full support from start to finish, tours available

Transgenic mouse services, including in vitro fertilization, transgenic mouse production, embryonic stem cell to blastocyst microinjection, cryopreservation, and genetic consultations
